Food and wine traditions

A good reason to organize your vacation in Palau is undoubtedly the food and wine tradition that, through tasting routes, enhances and makes known, together with the marvelous landscapes, another of the great riches of this island.

The nature of the land and the climatic factors play a fundamental role in the yield of viticulture, appreciated internationally. To the numerous wines of excellent quality, liqueurs must be added. The most famous is certainly the Myrtle. Furthermore, the pastoral and peasant traditions have given rise to a surprising variety of typical, genuine and high quality products. The shepherds jealously hand down the ancient traditions for the production of bread, cheese and cold cuts. Honey, freshly stuffed pasta and desserts are also excellent products of the island.
